| Sr Proposal Analyst - Qwest - Qwest |
Qwest Proposal Development Services (PDS) provides support to the BMG sales force with professional responses to complex customer requests for information (RFI), proposals (RFP), and quotes (RFQ). PDS compiles product documentation; supporting information from operations, engineering and customer service; pricing and discount information, and prepares specific responses to customer requests.
Responsibilities:
· Manage initial kickoff call, which will include all relevant participants, as necessary (Sales, Legal, POM, Product Management, Billing, Service, etc.)
· Assign responsibility for RFP responses. PMs will be responsible for the following:
· Respond to all product-specific questions / inquiries. PMs will use available resources, including PDS Database, the BMGQ, RFP response archives, and will engage Product Management and other SMEs, as necessary.
· Respond to all customer service and billing questions / inquiries. PMs will use available resources, including PDS Database, the BMGQ, RFP response archives, and will engage Product Management and other SMEs, as necessary.
· Engage Qwest Legal to review and comment on customer RFP.
· Compile responses from Sales Team, POM, and other outside organizations, and include in final document. PM will edit all responses before including in final document.
· Provide complete draft response to Sales and other relevant team members. Will manage draft review / red team review, as appropriate.
· Final compilation of the RFP is the responsibility of Proposal Development Services.
Qualifications:
* 1-3 years of Technical / Marketing writing / editing experience required
* Knowledge and understanding of voice and data services
* Basic desktop publishing skills in Microsoft Word
* Project Management skills – ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
* Proactive decision-making capabilities, including issue spotting and appropriate use and understanding of business hierarchy
* BA with communications emphasis (Journalism, English, Communications) or BS with technical emphasis (Engineering, Telecommunications, IT Systems) |
