Who We Are
The Colorado Chapter of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals was founded in 2004 to serve as a focal point for information about proposal development activities in Colorado. The Chapter is composed of proposal professionals from various industries including environmental management, telecommunications, geographic information systems, information technology, engineering, aerospace, etc.
Our Mission
The Colorado Chapter’s mission is to foster best practices in the development and management of business proposals. The organization achieves its mission by hosting regular meetings at which members and guests speakers demonstrate proven practices and processes for winning new government and commercial business. The processes include document management, project management, graphics development, and business development.
National APMP
APMP Colorado is affiliated with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, an international organization of proposal professionals. Members of the national organization can affiliate with the Colorado Chapter by indicating their interest to the national organization on their membership application.
Membership
Membership is open to anyone interested in the development and management of business proposals. We invite experienced proposal managers and business development professionals to our meetings. We also invite you to review proposal development resources on National’s website.
Meetings
Quarterly meetings are held at various locations along the Colorado Front Range Corridor. The first 30 minutes of each meeting are reserved for networking. This is an opportunity for attendees to get updates on jobs in the region, learn about upcoming training opportunities, and just get to know others in Proposal Development.
